The problem was with the Windows 10, 7, Windows 8 and 8.1 FireWire driver. A window will popup saying 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller Properties. HP Model No m9340f. Everything else passes. Device Manager is showing the Controller installed and working properly. I checked the driver. I would suggest you to change the firewire drivers to the ‘Legacy’ versions and check.

You may follow these steps and see if it can fix the issue.

1)Click Start

2) Type Device Manager and find your Firewire device.

3) In your case it is ‘1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller’.

4)Right-click it and hit ‘Update Driver Software’, Cf-19 network controller driver.

5)Then ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ and ‘Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer’.

6)Select the version with (Legacy) at the end and click-through to install it.
